Poets & Writers’ Readings & Workshops program pays fees to writers who participate in public readings or teach creative writing workshops in diverse community settings in New York State and California. Please plan to apply according to the following schedule:

• Applications due June 1, 2025 for summer events taking place July 1 - September 30, 2025
• Applications due August 31, 2025 for fall events taking place October 1 - December 31, 2025
• Applications due November 30, 2025 for winter events taking place January 1 - March 31, 2026
• Applications due March 1, 2026 for spring events taking place April 1 - June 30, 2026

All application periods open one month prior to the due date.
